CHAD (Cooling, Heating and desalination) provides a holistic approach to the supply of services to hotels, district, cooling and heating applications. The CHAD system uses sea water to provide fresh water ice for thermal energy storage and air-conditioning. The melted water from the thermal energy storage is then delivered as potable water and heated through heat recovery for showers or any heating required.

Applications

CHAD

(cooling, heating and desalination)

BCEF

(brine concentration and eutectic freezing - used in water treatment process)

TES

(thermal energy storage)

RSW-ICE

(combination Refrigerated Sea Water and Ice production) - for fishing trawlers

EverFlo-Ice

(Production of Flow-Ice for fish processing)

EverFlo-Snow

(Production of pure snow for use in food processing, i.e. fish packing, chicken or food processing)

EverFlo-Mine Optimize (EMO)

(Optimization of mine cooling systems to reduce power consumption)

Cooling, heating and desalination (CHAD) is used in combination with chillers. Standard chillers will cover the base load and the full peak load is covered with EverFlo™ to produce fresh water and recover heat to produce hot water for services in hotels etc. The ice is used as energy storage to manage peak demand on power required.
